CDL Licenses Explained
Class A CDL Training
The most advanced CDL available, allowing you to drive trucks capable of towing trailers with a GVWR of 10,000+ pounds. This includes standard 18-wheelers and clears you to drive all vehicles that Class B and C drivers can operate. Essential for interstate driving.
Class B CDL Training
Permits driving vehicles carrying less than 10,000 pounds GVWR with a single-axle trailer, including buses, box trucks, delivery trucks, dump trucks, and passenger vans. Restricted to the state of issue, making it ideal for regional driving careers.

Comprehensive Job Placement System
Our three-part job placement program ensures your success:
- Pre-hire CDL job screening before training begins, ensuring you’re qualified to work with one of our carrier partners
- Personalized employment planning during your training, matching you with employers that fit your interests and skills
- Ongoing post-graduation support with free, lifetime job placement assistance
Many of our students receive job offers before they even graduate. With partnerships with the nation’s best carriers maintained over decades, TDI graduates have proven time and again that they have what it takes to succeed.
Very nice people! Very good school, they will teach you what you need to know to get your CDL. Monty is one of the best instructors I’ve ever worked with. Tim and Brad are also very good and knowledgeable about what to do. Jacob is a human Encyclopedia, anything you need to learn about the book or general knowledge, he is that person. Glenda at the front desk is very helpful and kind. Kirk is a good recruiter, stays in touch everyday asking questions, trying to help you find a career. Very helpful place to go get your CDL. Classes aren’t packed, so you can actually get some good training. I enjoyed my time there 10/10
